Congratulations to Will and Charlie Coulter of Westgate Collegiate & Vocational Institute on being named SSSAA Athletes of the Week.
The Coulter brothers delivered outstanding performances at the NWOSSAA Track & Field Championships, earning multiple medals, setting new records, and qualifying for the OFSAA Track & Field Championships in Niagara Falls.
Will captured gold medals in the 100m, 200m, and Triple Jump, while setting a new NWOSSAA Triple Jump record of 11.92m. Charlie earned gold medals in Shot Put and Javelin and a bronze medal in Discus, while establishing a new NWOSSAA Shot Put record of 13.78m.
Beyond their success on the track, both athletes were integral members of Westgate’s SSSAA Junior Boys Basketball Championship Team, demonstrating their dedication and versatility across multiple sports.
Their hard work, leadership, and commitment to excellence continue to make them outstanding representatives of Westgate athletics.
