Let it snow! It continues to snow like there’s no tomorrow and so that has forced changes to both the Secondary Track & Field and Cycling schedules.
First to Track & Field where the alterations were announced today after another weekend of sleet and ice has delayed practices from running outside. With hampered training, both All-Comers Meets have been delayed a week:
All-Comers Meet #1 (all of its events) – moves from Wednesday, May 3 to Wednesday, May 10 with no changes to time (4:00pm-7:00pm). Entry Deadline is now on Monday, May 8 (11:59pm).
All-Comers Meet #2 (all of its events) – moves from Wedneday, May 10 to Wednesday, May 17 (with a change to the time (5:00pm-8:00pm) to allow for the conclusion of another Track Meet at the Stadium. Entry Deadline is now on Monday, May 15 (11:59pm).
In Cycling news, the Centennial Park trails have not had much of an opportunity to dry out so a complete change of schedule has been announced:
Races 1/2 – moves a week later from Tuesday, May 9 to Tuesday, May 16 (1:30pm)
Races 3/4 – moves a week later from Tuesday, May 16 to Tuesday, May 23 (1:30pm)
Races 5/6 – is now on Thursday, June 1 (1:30pm)
